Selection Committee for Bangladesh Submission

Bangladesh Federation of Film Societies (BFFS) has taken the initiative to participate in the Academy Award (Oscar) International Feature Film Award Competition like every year. For this purpose, a committee of 07 (seven) members was proposed for the selection of eligible films. The committee members were selected following the rules prescribed by the International Feature Film selection committee guidelines and Rules and Guidelines for the Oscar Bangladesh Committee Formation. 

The 98th Oscar Bangladesh Committee will invite Bangladeshi films to be nominated in the "International Feature Film Awards" category. According to Academy rules, any Bangladeshi feature film released no earlier than October 1, 2024, and no later than September 30, 2025, will be able to participate in the selection process that are being commercially shown continuously for 7 (seven) days in the theaters of Bangladesh or any country other than the United States.
